24 Hour Comic Day
Well, 24hr comic day is here. Never heard of it? don’t worry it’s exactly like it sounds. Starting at noon the goal is to draw a 24 page comic in 24 hours.
Yoinked from Wiki to help explain some things:
“A 24-hour comic is a 24-page comic book written, drawn, and completed in 24 hours. Scott McCloud originally came up with the challenge for himself and Steve Bissette as a creative exercise. McCloud drew the first 24-hour comic to prove it could be done on August 31, 1990, and Bissette did his on September 5.”
I’ve never done this before so the whole idea sounds very exciting and challenging. Unfortunately I won’t be able to take part in it today, but I may set up some time later on this month and do it unofficially.
